Cave Creek, AZ - The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA) has released its grades of the candidates for the Arizona Republican gubernatorial nomination. The NRA gave Frank Riggs an "A" grade as a "solidly pro-gun candidate...who has supported NRA positions on key votes in elective office." As a three-term U.S. Congressman, Riggs earned an "A" rating from the NRA as a "proven incumbent legislator with an excellent voting record on critical NRA issues who has made an active effort to promote Second Amendment rights."
The vanity candidate, Ms. Jones, and the establishment-picked candidate (and self-described "ice cream guy"), Mr. Ducey, received "AQ" grades from the NRA. The NRA says this rating "is based solely on the candidate's responses to the NRA Candidate Questionnaire," and is for a candidate "who does not have a voting record on Second Amendment issues."
Millionaire talk is cheap. Arizona Republican primary voters don't have to settle for someone who's a blank slate with no record to match their rhetoric. They're unvetted and untested and have never had to cast a single tough legislative vote, like the vote Frank Riggs cast as a Member of Congress to overturn the federal ban on so-called "assault weapons."
Time and again, Frank Riggs, Army veteran, ex-cop and former Congressman, has defended the Second Amendment and gun owners' rights. Frank Riggs' record and experience prove that he's tested, trusted and ready to lead from Day One. In a crowded field, he's the "real deal" and the clear conservative choice for Governor!
