Once again, the perverted, and literally upside down, interpretation of the US Constitution has caused the administrators of a Public School to violate the rights of a Christian group. How many times do we have to say that the concept of “separation of church and state” (a phrase, which, by the way, is not even in the constitution) means the state cannot interfere with the free exercise of religion. Indeed, the very first sentence of the Constitution states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”.
A group of students at Wantagh High School in Nassau County New York was denied their right to form a Christian group on campus.
