Republican Conservatives vs AZGOP - Where does it end?

This is about one thing only - the party faithful, the party workers, the Party precinct Committeemen, the party State Committeemen, those who willingly year after year volunteer to do the hard work to elect Republicans to public office, recruited to fill empty PC seats, work to register Republican voters, adhere to the Republican platform.  THOSE are the people who really matter in the Republican party, not the hierarchy.]

     LD16 Organizational/Election Meeting Declared Null And Void - improperly conducted. Read complaint and follow up correspondence below regarding the directive to conduct a new organization meeting under the supervision of the MCRC. 

o   Complaint LaFaro received Mon. morning, Nov 24: Subject: Re: LD16

1.     Chad Heywood* conspired w/ Deborah Miller (both state officers, Deborah was a candidate for Recording Sec on their slate.) Mara Benson and Taylor McArthur to create a fraudulent election. Deborah Miller w/the assistance of Chad and Mara took over Credentialing. (she was a candidate). I had found volunteers W/ election experience and training to handle credentialing they were thrown out. Even my complete proxy was not excepted by Deborah. 

[*Chad Heywood his AZGOP Chairman Graham's Chief of Staff, his right hand man, the guy who played a part in sending out those fraudulent "open meetings" directives.  Keep that in your memory bank!]

2.     Incomplete proxies were accepted (a couple were seen) but Deborah allowed no one to see the proxy count or validate. All w/the assistance of Chad and Mara acting as Chair. The proxies and all were taken w/ no one to oversee but Deborah and Chad.

3.     The meeting was adjourned w/out all elections results being announced.  

4.      I want Deborah and Chad removed from their positions and a new election called.  -- Jerry E. Clingman -  LD16 Chairman  

o   Chairman A. J. LaFaro to Trevor  Hansen at 8:13am Tuesday, Nov 25: I have received a formal written complaint, e-mails, v-mails and telephone conversations concerning how LD16's Organization/Election Meeting was improperly conducted (see some of the allegations).  In addition, all proxies that were submitted at the meeting need to be turned over to the MCRC for thorough review.

Under the circumstances, the LD16 Organization/Election Meeting will need to be declared null and void.  You have until Saturday, December 6th, to conduct an organization/election meeting that adheres to the Arizona Revised Statutes, LD16 and MCRC Bylaws.  Be advised, the AZGOP has no authority or jurisdiction in this matter. [emphasis added]

Please note the LD16 Call to Meeting must be mailed to all LD16 Precinct Committeemen by Wednesday, November 26th. Under no circumstances should any candidates be involved. Please let me know when and where the meeting will be held.  I will be appointing a team of unbiased individuals to conduct the meeting, credentialing and tally of the election.  - Respectfully, A.J. o   Hansen to LaFaro  (Tues, 25 Nov 2014 14:29:44) I am in receipt of your email.  It is my understanding that a nullification of the election requires a full vote of the Maricopa County Executive Committee.  Once you have received the outcome of that vote, please get back to me on the results of that vote. If you would like to review the proxies prior to the full vote of the MCEC please let me know a time and place where I can bring the proxies along with legal counsel and we can review them together. -   Respectfully, Trevor Hansen

o   LaFaro to Hansen at 6:38 PM This Evening: The MCRC Bylaws do not indicate that a nullification of an LD election requires a vote of the Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC) Executive Guidance Committee (EGC).  In addition, legal opinion was issued just a few years ago in the case concerning the previous LD22 that the MCRC Chairman does have the authority to nullify a LD organizational/election meeting if a written complaint is received by one or more of the affected Precinct Committeemen.  Please note what the bylaws do say in Article II, Section 4E and 4F -

E. Organizational Meetings - If an Organizational Meeting of a District fails to complete its required objectives, the District Chairman shall issue a call for a new Organizational Meeting within five (5) days. Should the Chairman fail to issue this new call, then the County Chairman shall issue a call for a new Organizational Meeting within five (5) days. Should the County Chairman fail to issue this call, then any ten percent (10%) of the PCs residing within the District shall have the authority to call a new Organizational Meeting by issuing a legal call complete with agenda and proxy form, and giving a minimum of ten days notice of the same to each PC within the District, as provided for by law or bylaw. At the new Organizational Meeting, the PCs shall complete any of the required objectives that were notcompleted at the initial Organizational Meeting.

F. Timely Challenge - A written challenge to a District abiding by the required objectives of its Organization Meeting must be received by the County Chairman or member of the EGC Executive Board no later than three days following the firstSaturday in December.

     After further review of additional written evidence I received this afternoon, I am declaring the LD16 Organization/Election Meeting null and void.  Mr. Jerry Klingman is the current LD16 Chairman and I'm requesting he issue a new call to meeting as quickly as possible.  Under no circumstances should any candidates be involved in conducting the meeting, credentialing or tally. Mr. Klingman will need to let me know when and where the meeting will be held.  

       I will be appointing a team of unbiased individuals to conduct the meeting, credentialing and tally of the election.  

      In addition, Mr. Klingman will need to turn over all proxies that were submitted at the meeting to the MCRC for thorough review and inspection. - Respectfully, A. J. LaFaro, Chairman, Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC)
